He was predeceased by: his parents, Adie Adkins and Gordon Adkins; his wife Lillian Adkins; his son Phillip Edward Adkins; and his granddaughter Rebecca Adkins.
He is survived by: his children, Elaine Thompson (Albert), Robert Adkins, Marian Hreha (Michael), Kathy Adkins and William Adkins (Cindi); and his grandchildren, David, Renee, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Joshua, Katie, Jacob, Jared, Robert and Rachel. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
