She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Matthews (Evege) and Robert C. Matthews; her husband John W. Reed; and her siblings, Robert Matthews Jr., Seward Matthews, David Matthews, Francis Matthews, John A. Matthews and Lena Roberts.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terri Reed Harper of Simpsonville, SC and Kimberly Denise Capel of Columbus; her grandchildren, Aaron Capel, Eric Capel, Dominique Harper and Johnathan Harper; her great grandchildren, Ariyana, Eli and Killian; and her sisters, Joyce Gross and Jean Ann Curry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
