He was predeceased by: his parent Harry Tappel. He is survived by: his parent Marian Tappel (Burlew); his wife Gay Tappel (Runkle); his children, Todd Tappel (Kelly) of New London, Shawn Tappel (Joey) of New London and Leigh Ann Gerlak (Mike) of New London; and his grandchildren, Shawna, Corey, Cody and Drew. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and his "furry child", Booker In addition to his parents, Hank was preceded in death by a sister and 2 brothers.
