She was predeceased by: her parents, Alta Parsons (Hall) and Wilburn Parsons; her husband Lawrence Hale Sr.; her granddaughter Heather Killgrove-Reed; her siblings, Wilburn Parsons Jr. and Juanita Akers; and her son-in-law Keith Bailey.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Killgrove (Mark), Larry Hale Jr. (Michelle), Gwen Bailey, Allen Hale (Louise Shupe) and Kenneth Hale (Learose); her sisters, Wanda Stewart, Regina Kidd (Henry) and Faye Carroll (Edgar); and her sister-in-law Judy Parsons. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; countless great grandchildren.
