It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Henes of New London, Ohio, born in Huron, Ohio, who passed away on July 15, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Henes and Hannah Henes; his wife Mary Jacqueline "Jackie" Henes; his sons, Edwin Thomas and John Adams Henes; and his sisters, Marjorie Marshall, Lila Jane Ranft and Ida Ruth Hastings.
He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Welsh (Daniel) of New London; his daughter-in-law Michele Henes of Amherst; his grandchildren, Katie Henes (Ann Schloss), Jill Henes, Darcie Parsons (Russ), Samantha Willis (Mike), Emily Dalton (Brian) and Ted Welsh (Laura); and his great grandchildren, Leah, Nathan, Ivan Willis, Alayna, Alivia Welsh, Bailey Dalton, Jamieson, Elliott, Garrett, Anderson Parsons and Callie Henes.
