He is survived by: his former wife Emily Weese Purdy; his wife Carolyn Lee Porter Stone; his granddaughter Bella Purdy of Cambridge, Massachusetts; his daughter Renee Purdy; his granddaughter Abigail DeShazo of Culver City; and his stepsons, Mark Stone of Atlanta, Georgia, Michael Stone of Franklin, Georgia and Mathew Stone.
