She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Steele and Florence Steele (Schmalz); her husband William McComas; her children, Nancy McComas and William McComas Jr.; and her siblings, Raymond, David Steele and Lois Stevens.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Hansen of Elyria; her grandchildren, Robert Hansen of Elyria and Reba Hansen of Norwalk; and her siblings-in-law, Sandy Hardway and Ronald McComas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
