He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy "Delfia" and George Brummitt; his son Mark Brummitt; his grandson Stanley Brummitt; and his siblings, Ange Ritchie and Retta Souza.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Brummitt; his sons, Dennis Brummitt (Nikki), Tony Brummitt and Tim Stewart (Missy); his grandchildren, Amy Brummitt, Elizabeth Brummitt (Brad), Sam Anderson and Dustin Brummitt (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Heavynn and Milo; and his siblings, Bobby Brummitt (Shirley), Eldon "Pete" Brummitt (Janice), Willard Brummitt (Linda) and Janice Redford (Maury). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and several sisters-in-law.
His family will receive guests at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio 44857, on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 4:00 p. m. until 6:00 p. m. Visitors are required to bring and wear a mask or face covering while in the funeral home.
