He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James, Alice Smiley, Shirley Shannon and Charles Carty; and his uncle Jeff Brisbane.

He is survived by: his parents, Brian Smiley and Zoie Smiley; his brother Deacon Smiley; and his grandparents, Gail Smiley, Jerry, Mayetta Haynes, Edgar, Mercy Carder, Hurley, Elise Carty and Robert Shannon. He is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles.
