John L. Lewis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John L. Lewis of New Lexington, Ohio, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John L. Lewis to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Linton D. Lewis Sr. and Margaret Hillis Lewis; his sister Margaret Ann Lewis Davis; his brother-in-law Ed Williams; his grandparents, David J. Lewis, Grace Lewis, Bessie Lewis, Frank and Laura Hillis; and his son-in-law Michael Mollahan.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer; his children, Jodi McCoy (Ian), Jamie Mollohan, Jessi Lewis and Jason Lewis (Mindy); his grandchildren, Peyton, Ashlyn Grace and Jackson McCoy; his siblings, Judge Linton D. Lewis Jr. (Anne) and Linda Williams; his brother-in-law Joe Davis; and his pet Willy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home (304 Mill St, New Lexington, OH 43764). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at the New Lexington Cemetery (440 Swigart St, New Lexington, OH 43764).
