He was predeceased by: his son Carl Ison of Cumberland, KY; his siblings, Don Daniels (Betty Jo) of Harlan, KY and Gwendolyn Metcalfe of Putney, KY; and his great grandchild Codie Ison of Benham, KY.. He is survived by: his children, Angela Brock (Scott) and Samuel Ison (Lisa) of Cumberland, KY; his siblings, Clark Metcalfe (Linda) of Abington, VA and Karen Metcalfe of Abington, VA; and his grandchildren, Samuel Ison of Middlesboro, KY, Christopher Metcalfe (Starr) of Hulen, KY, Derrick Hatfield (Taylor) of Bean Station, TN, Cody Ison of New Tazewell, TN, Sydney Brock and Steven Brock of New Lebanon, OH. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren, and a long list of cherished extended family, to include David (Sharon) Kennedy, Cumberland, KY and daughters.
