He was predeceased by: his wife Traci Shell; his parents, Edna Shell and Delbert Shell; his siblings, David Shell and Mary Kidwell; and his brother-in-law James Howard.
He is survived by: his children, Matthew Shell (Gina) and Alicia Alhamad (Mo); his grandsons, Graham, Evan Shell and Faris Alhamad; his significant other Cindy Riley; his sisters, Shirley Keener (Maurice), Beverly Howard and Renda Gebhart (Ernie); and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Shell, Jill Wilson, Vic Kidwell and Scott Nuckles. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and many special friends.
