She was predeceased by: her parents, William Slusher and Annelize Phipps Slusher; her husband Johnnie Whitt; her children, Kenny Whitt and Joyce Ann Sturgill; her siblings, Shafter Slusher, Sherman Slusher, Smith Slusher, Sammie Slusher, Shay Slusher and Emily Robertson; and her grandchildren, David Bryant May, Gymma Denise Dyer and Lori Sue Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Phillip Whitt of Johnson City, Judy Carol Whitt Jones of Cincinnati, Rhoda Fister of Dayton, Emma Sue Hayes of Dayton, Bonnie Whitt Dyer of Salyersville and Pauline Francis Thomas of Dayton; and her grandchildren, Greg Sturgill, Jeri Martina Dickie, Lisa Marie Otto, Jonathan Evan Dyer, Shawn Whitt, Kari Nicole Jones, Jessica Michael Monnin and Ashley Whitt. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
