She was predeceased by: her brothers, Dale C. Powell and Donald R. Powell; her husband John Bayer; her parents, Howard Heck and Lottie Heck; her adoptive parents, Lawrence Lavy and Marie Lavy; and her son John Bayer Jr. (Loraine Bayer).
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Renicker (Bayer) and Kathleen Bayer; and her children-in-law, Stephen, Karianne Rumble, Elijah, Melanie Renicker, Micah, Carmen Renicker, Regina, Marlan Frick, Hans, Esther Bayer, Jubal and Violet Bayer. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
