He was predeceased by: his father Charles Miller; his wife Eloise (Dearing); his son Bobby Miller; and his siblings, Ray, Bobby Miller, Charlotte Jordan, Lois Marshall and Margaret Vance.

He is survived by: his daughters, Marilyn Walden (John) and Charlene Stamper (David); and his grandchildren, Tammy Guthrie (Don), Shari Holloway, Tara Hadfield (Travis), Wendy Tesmer (Brian), Matthew Stamper (Sophia) and Rachel Brown (Dan). He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
