He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Joe Shank and Monette Shank (Somers); and his stepmother Opal Shank (Dickey). He is survived by: his wife Linda Shank; his children, Joseph D. "Joe" Shank (Cheryl), Belinda Kay Cost (Keith), Ivy Jo Blake (Adam) and Rebecca Ann Sherwood (Kyle); his brother Kenneth Shank; his grandchildren, Jeff (Tabitha), Justin (Sarah), Jessica (Don), Sydney (David), Jacob, Benjamin (Haelee), Seth, Madison, Thomas and Karson; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Mason, Weslie, Peyton Jo and Will. He is also survived by numerous nieces nephews, extended family.
