She was predeceased by: her husband Gardner Benson; her parents, Ralph Shank and Ellen Shank (Lindbergh); her brother Eugene Shank (Pat); and her daughter Linda Hunn Billings (Gary).
She is survived by: her children, Lynne Magel (Eric), Denise Alford (Charles), Paula Fickel (David), Larry Hunn (Karen) and Rex Hunn (Jan); her grandchildren, Traci, Joshua (Holly), Christina, Andrea, Eric, Shari, John, Angie and Holly; and her child Evangelism. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
