She was predeceased by : her parents, Clement R. Stienecker and Olga Martha Stienecker (Katterheinrich); her brothers, Don and James (Janice); her former life partners, Tom Whitehead and Victor Meyer of Columbus Grove; her son-in-law Steven Nelson; and her stepgrandson Robin Cox.

She is survived by : her husband David Bryenton; and her children, Patricia Nelson, Patrick "Buz" Meyer (Rachel), Penny Cox (Collin) and Preston Meyer (Carol). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and spouses, 30 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Knoxville Methodist Church (109 S Main St, New Knoxville, OH 45871). A memorial service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
