She was predeceased by : her parents, Silas Lammers and Lola Lammers (Howe); her former life partner Dale Meckstroth; her brother Dennis Lammers; her brother-in-law Robert Wisenborn; her parents-in-law, Ferdinand Meckstroth and Jennie Meckstroth; and her siblings-in-law, Roland Meckstroth, Wilma Meckstroth, Marvin Schuller, Lois Schuller, Casper Hoelscher and Rachel Hoelscher.

She is survived by : her husband David L. Berlet; her children, Dana D. Meckstroth Brown of Clarksville, Tennessee and Dirk D. Meckstroth of New Knoxville, Ohio.; her grandchildren, Tiffany Dixon (Jeremy) of Clarksville, Tennessee., Dale Brown (Anna) of Clarksville, Tennessee., Cora, Wyatt, Titus, Micah Dixon Amos, Magnolia, Wren, Goldie and Axl Brown; her sisters, Karen Wisenborn of Celina, Ohio and Diane Fledderjohann (Tom) of New Knoxville, Ohio.; and her siblings-in-law, Marlene Lammers of New Knoxville, Ohio., Ned and Ruby Berlet of Wapakoneta.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home (314 W High St, St Marys, OH 45885). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Miller Long and Folk Funeral Home (314 W High St, St Marys, OH 45885).

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sandra's memory can be directed to either New Knoxville Methodist Church or Midwest Mission.
