It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John H Hoge of New Knoxville, Ohio, who passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hoge and Meta Hoge (Meckstroth); his wife JoAnn "Woody" Hoge (Heywood); and his brothers, William Hoge and Dean Hoge.
He is survived by: his children, Jann Hoge (Oliver Dudley) of Southfield, Jill McClure of Royal Oak and Jack Hoge (Rebecca) of New Knoxville; his grandchildren, John McClure (Molly), Darrell McClure (Sara Umlauf), Krista McClure (Lanny Almon) and Meta Hoge; and his great grandchildren, Aliyah Jordan May, Carnieche McClure, Giselle McClure, Eli McClure, Nova McClure, Bryant McClure and Miriana McClure.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the First Church of New Knoxville (200 W Bremen St, New Knoxville, OH 45871). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services on Saturday at the church where, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be given to either the New Knoxville Historical Society or Girl Scouts of Western Ohio.
