We are sad to announce that on August 2, 2024, at the age of 98, Joanna H. (Kruse) Strayer of New Knoxville, Ohio, born in Ferndale, Michigan passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joanna H. (Kruse) Strayer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred K. Harrod and Wilda E. Harrod (Stipp); her husband Walter A. Strayer; her brother Robert Harrod; and her friend Carl Hoehne.
She is survived by: her children, Curtis "Mack" Kruse (Loretta) of Lancaster, OH., Barbara Wicker (Jessie) of New Knoxville, Craig Kruse (Caryn) of Cathedral City, CA. and Gail Foster (Scott) of Sidney; and her brother Richard "Jack" Harrod of Lima. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the New Knoxville Methodist Church Memorial Fund or to Grand Lake Hospice.
