He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Lydia Sarah Niemeyer (Elshoff); his wife Ruth Anne Zwiebel; and his siblings, Reuben Niemeyer and Ruth Niemeyer.
He is survived by: his children, Anita Winters (Jack) of Atlanta, GA., Gail Lewis (Wilbur) of Grand Prairie, Texas, Reid Niemeyer (Sue) of New Knoxville, Lorie Simms (David) of Garland, Texas, Dawn Tremble (Jack) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Brad Niemeyer (Melanie) of Celina, Joy Janosko (Paul) of Lexington, Ohio and Drew Niemeyer of New Knoxville. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
