It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don R Maurer of New Knoxville, Ohio, born in Sidney, Ohio, who passed away on October 8, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Maurer and Edith Maurer (Schroer). He is survived by : his wife Sara Schmidt; his sons, Richard Maurer (Trisha) of Muncie, Indiana and Scott Maurer (Bobbi) of Bellbrook, Ohio; his grandson Nathaniel Maurer of Hagerstown, Indiana; his son Cameron Maurer of Marion, Indiana.; and his siblings, Rita Schmidt of Findlay, Ohio and Paul Maurer (Shirley) of New Knoxville.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, where memorial gifts may be given to either the Kidney Foundation or Grand Lake Hospice.
