He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Covert and Myrtle Covert (Davison). He is survived by : his spouse Ruth Gordon; his sons, Christopher Covert and Patrick Covert; and his siblings, John Covert-Sisung (Judy) of Detroit, Tim Covert (Mary Beth) of Detroit, Tom Covert (Suzanne) of Stevensville and Rick Covert (Kathy) of Squim.
