He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Irene Parker; his children, Susan Dale Eggleton (Larry) and Philip Leroy Funk (Jodi); his grandchildren, Adam N. Lightle, Alyssa Funk, Austin Funk, Caitlyn Rosado, Rob Long, Kiersten Johnson and Audrey Mead; his great grandchild Arianna Rosado; and his sister Doris Russell (Howard) of New Holland.

Dale Leroy Funk, 86, of New Holland, OH, died Friday August 31, 2018 at 8:32 a.m. at his residence, following an extended battle with Alzheimer's.
