He is survived by: his parent Norma Cummins Shaner; his spouse Lois Herren; his children, Renee Zimmerman (David) of Waynesfield, OH, Larry Shaner (Holly) of Harrod, OH, Kathy Myers (Mike) of Jackson Center, OH and Jeff Shaner (Maria) of Bowie, MD; his grandchildren, Brittaney Clouse (Ryan), Breigh-Ann Shobe (Colby), Brynna Fetter (Keaton), Brooks Zimmerman (Chelsea), Shane Myers (Ashley), Katrina Myers, Hannah Mincey (Ian), Tabatha Myers, Kyle Shaner (Morgan), Nicholas Shaner (Chaney), Curtis Shaner (Maegan) and Eric Shaner; his stepgrandchildren, Nikki France (Amahl) and Janey; his great grandchildren, Olivia Shobe, Lane Shobe, Carter Fetter, Mason Fetter, Chaney Zimmerman, Linc Myers, Crosby Myers, Chloe Mincey, Conor Mincey, Ellie Shaner, Issac Shaner, Brittney Edwards, Rayden Edwards, Jaylen Edwards, Taeell Mitchell, Xavier McCalla and Dakota Clouse; and his sister Jeanette Knoch of Wapakoneta, OH.
