He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest "Mich" Stamm and Roberta "Bobbie" Stamm (Muth); his brother Geoffrey Stamm; and his granddaughter Annastyn Stamm. He is survived by: his sons, Matthew Stamm (Jo-Beth) and Gregory Stamm (Annie); his stepchildren, Angela Combs (Craig), Mark Smith and Matthew Smith (Columba); his grandchildren, Benjamin Stamm, Mya Stamm, Joseph Stamm, Emersyn Stamm and Nathan Combs; and the mother of his children Gail E. Stamm Requardt (Lash).
