He was predeceased by: his parents, Carson Shepherd and Virginia Shepherd (Garey); his brother Dale Shepherd; and his mother-in-law Josephine Siegal. He is survived by: his wife Judith Shepherd (Siegal); his siblings, Glenn Shepherd (Mary), Paul Shepherd (Mary), Donna Yarger-Saucier (Dick) and Lorna Smith (Jerry); and his sister-in-law Nancy Shepherd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, whom he treated as his own children.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American heart Association.
