He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Archer and Lula Archer; his wife Carolyn McCoy Archer; his son Bruce Archer; his stepson Monte Miller; and his siblings, Bill Archer and Grace Kenworthy.

He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Archer; his stepdaughter Kathleen Tom; his daughter-in-law Tammy Archer; and his sister Evelyn Walker. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
