He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Steele and Ada Steele; his former wife Jessie; his son Donald Steele; and his grandson Ryan Lee Steele.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his children, Russell Steele (Nadine), Shirley Place (Richard) and Robert Steele (Sandy); his grandchildren, Jeremy Steele (Megan), Tim Place (Chandra), Alan Place (Andrea), Michele Streb (Andy), Chad Clagett (Trisha) and Jennifer Hunter (Bobby); and his children, Brian Steele, Andrea Steele, Kimberly Barcus and Melissa Billingsley (James). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
