With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Mensi of New Carlisle, Ohio, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on September 20, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Prosper Alig and Francis Alig (Meismer); her husband Noah W; her son Donald Mensi; and her sister Ruth Appel of Mesa, AZ..
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Mensi of New Carlisle and Janice Clark of New Carlisle; her son-in-law Curtis Clark; her grandsons, Coleman (Brooke) and Adam Clark (Jenna); her sisters, Nancy Jackson and Lois Jenkins; and her son Noah. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Shirley's name to the Alzheimer's Association and to Grace Hospice, 3303 Kettering Blvd, Ste 220, Dayton, OH 45439-1948.
