He is survived by: his wife Judith; his children, Rodney Trueblood and Cheryl Heyl (Dean); his sister Della Fell; his grandsons, Justin Sandberg (Vanessa) and Adam Sandberg; and his great grandchildren, Westin and Bo Sandberg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
