He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Shirley; his children, Ron Grout (Shelley), Michael Grout (Melanie), Diana Taylor, Rick Hurley (Nilah), Bill Hurley (Melissa) and Tina Boggs (Chuck); his sister Joyce Schwartz; his parents, Melvin Grout and Vivian Redmond; his siblings, Roger Grout and Jean Brown; his former wife Virgie; and his granddaughter Crissy Grout.
