She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Reynolds and Lela Jewell Reynolds; her brothers, Emory Lee Reynolds and Elmo Reynolds (Juanita); and her grandson Phillip Stewart.
She is survived by: her husband Fred Carter; her children, Wanda Stewart (Gary), Mary Suitts, David Carter (Emma Lou), Della Dean (Andy), Janet Suitts (David Clark), Teresa Helmick and Norman Carter (Deborah); her siblings, Guy Reynolds (Barbara), Evalena Whitt (Aubrey) and Joyce Elliott; and her sister-in-law Nina Lou Lewis. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
