He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Deichert and Kate Deichert (Schwalm); and his siblings, Howard and Ivy. He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Riley Matthews, Lauren Matthews and Hadley Matthews. He is also survived by his daughter, Dinah Board; three grandchildren.
