We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2019, at the age of 83, Leonard Williams Sr. (New Carlisle, Ohio), born in Hazard, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Williams and Lueverna Williams; his children, Leonard Williams, Jr., James Williams and Theresa Paul; his son-in-law David Downs, Sr.; and his siblings, Luther, Lester Williams, Merle Hicks and Pauline Eden.
He is survived by: his wife Leona; his daughters, Joyce Downs and Karen Sue Brigner (Roger); his sister Helen Sue Jent; and his grandchildren, Brandy Paden (Abe), David Downs, Jr. (Shanna), Kenneth Downs (Jennifer), Shauna Tener (Jason), Justin Brigner (Samantha Begley), Roger "Logan" Brigner (Shelby Leary), Dustin Schmidt, Scott Williams and Jon Williams. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild;numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
