She was predeceased by: her former husband Billy Handshoe; her siblings, James, Lewis, Maxine, Minus, Jesse and Janice; her stepson David Handshoe (Garnet); and her stepgranddaughter Jessica Ainsworth.
She is survived by: her parents, Franklin Combs and May Combs (Collins); her husband David A Hale; her stepchildren, Darrell Handshoe (Cassie), Debra Montgomery (Steve), Harold Hale (Mary), Lynn Loving (Glenn) and Cassie Ward; her stepgrandchildren, Angel Adams (Kash), Kristie Wright (Jason), Jenny Handshoe, Amanda Loving (Josh), Jessica Loving, Amber Ward, Thomas "Tommy" Ward, Ashley Ward, April Leonard (Matt), Natalie Weaver (Jeremy), Stephen Montgomery Brent (Paige) and Dustin Montgomery (Gabrielle); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Makenzie, Korbin, Kristin, Logan, Sadie, Star, Allison, Billy, Riley, Haley, Clair, Rebecca, Zechariah, Tabitha, Graham, Benjamin, Eli, Noah, Elise, Ethan, Giselle, Henri, Asher, Jaden, Theodore and Daisy; and her half-brother Truman Combs (Loretta). She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Belton Stroup Funeral Home (422 E Dayton Yellow Springs Rd, Fairborn, OH 45324). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Byron Cemetery (3256 Trebein Rd, Fairborn, OH 45324).
