He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Barker and Rita Barker; and his brothers-in-law, Tommy and Timmy. He is survived by: his children, Benjamin Barker and Christine Alkire (Jeremiah); his grandsons, Jeffrey and Jeremiah Alkire; and his former wife Cathy Barker. He is also survived by brother and sister; many nieces and nephews.
