He was predeceased by: his parent John Ashbaugh; his wives, Mildred J. Ashbaugh and Christine Ashbaugh; and his daughters, Pamela Brubaker and Kim Innis.
He is survived by: his parent Lenora Ashbaugh; his children, Alec Ashbaugh (Jeani), John Ashbaugh (Barbara), Charlie Salyers, Thomas Ashbaugh, Dianna Gibson, Jody Horrsocks (David), Kathy Leggett (Barry) and Brenda Adamson (Ernie); and his siblings, John Ashbaugh, Cindy McClellan and Janet Friesenhahn (Dale). He is also survived by grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
