With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Louise Benton of New Carlisle, Ohio, who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Crutchfield and Loraine Crutchfield; her son Eric Strunk; her brother Dick; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Crutchfield and Dixie Crutchfield.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Benton; her children, Bryan Strunk (Christine), Stephanie Hudkins (Scott) and Adrienne Heeren (Ron); her grandchildren, Clayton Strunk, Brittany Dunn, Sydney Markley and Alexa Hudkins; her great grandchildren, Addison, Elyse, Eryk, Andrea, Carter and Aalyiah; her siblings, Karen Gatton (George), Steve Crutchfield (Rita) and Jerry Crutchfield; and her siblings-in-law, Judy Horstman, Jill Curtain, June Easter and Jim Benton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
