He was predeceased by: his parents, Phyllis A. Sheppard (Mapes) and Edward B. Sheppard; his former wife Diane Sheppard; and his sister Dianna Garcia. He is survived by: his wife Jane Karafit; his children, Blake Sheppard (Erin) of Chevy Chase, MD, Erika O'Hora (Brian) of Malahide and Trevor Luth (Taylor) of New Carlisle, OH; his grandchildren, Rory, Charlotte and Oisin; and his siblings, Carolyn Faught (Dave) of Pataskala, OH and Terry Sheppard (Karen) of Millersport, OH. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Baird Funeral Home (555 N Market St, Troy, OH 45373). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Day City Hospice or Lions Clubs International.
