He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lonie Chaffins and Ergile Chaffins; his wife Rosemary; his son John David Chaffins (Esther); his granddaughters, Emily and Grace Chaffins; his sister Barbara Decker; his niece Schelly Decker; and his nephews, Brett and Brad Decker.
