He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hicks and Vivian Hicks (Sellers); and his brother-in-law Ralph Gilbert. He is survived by: his siblings, Susan Gilbert, Gayle Ponder (Jack), Violet Hicks, Deronda Carmack (Sam) and Shelbey Hicks. He is also survived by nieces, nehpews, great nieces, great nephews.
