It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie Diamond Sr. of New Carlisle, Ohio, who passed away on June 28, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Diamond and Iona Diamond (Spillman); his former wife Donna Diamond; his daughter Shirley Riley; and his grandson James Frederick Riley.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Diamond; his children, Carol Strayer (Scott), Charlene Diamond Ward, Charlie Jr. Diamond (Betty), Debbie Sowder, Sandy Levitre (Chuck), Brenda Thompson and Kathy Van Valen; his grandchildren, James Strayer, Rebecca McKenzie (Joseph), Katherine Beach (Christopher), Jennifer Wiscons (Brett), Mark Yeary, Crystal Yeary, Chelsea Teat (John), Tyler Diamond, John LaPois (Julie), Jennifer Williams, Anthony Sowder, Barbara Sowder, Brian Sweeney, Timothy Sweeney, Adam Levi (Joannis), Aaron Van Valen, Aubrey Van Valen Perez (Jacob), Alex Van Valen, Christopher Burnett and Stacy Harrison (Kevin); and his brother Dennis Diamond. He is also survived by nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
