Charles W. Janning Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles W. Janning of New Carlisle, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on December 9, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Janning and Eva Janning (Webb); his sisters, Patricia Girard and Joan Armstrong; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Girard, Samuel Armstrong and Robert Strasser.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Suzanne Stangle; his friend Charles; his children, Cathryn Fortunato (Mark Alexander), Melissa Clark (Pat) and Dan Janning (Rachelle); his siblings, Mary Strasser and William Janning (Robin); his grandchildren, Christina, Anthony, Jennifer, Gina, Patrick, Leigh Anne, Kathleen, William and Anna; and also Miriam. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
