It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cathy Gonzalez in New Carlisle, Ohio, born in Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wylie and Betty Wylie; and her husband Frederick Gonzalez. She is survived by: her children, Steve Gonzalez, David Gonzalez (Cheri) and Lisa Kawanishi (Kevin); her grandchildren, Tylan (Erica), Thomas (Jennifer), Brandon (Jessica), Nico (Britney), Heather, Devin, Alisha, Kenny, Nicole and Miranda; her brother John Wylie (Nan); her nephew JD Wylie (Lindsay); and her friend Maria Beimly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Presbyterian Church (5555 Chambersburg Rd, Dayton, OH 45424). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Faith Presbyterian Church.
