She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Wendel and Elisabeth M. Wendel (Miller); her husband Louis M. Elking; and her siblings, Theresia Beumer (August), Mary Roeckner (Werner), Aloys Wendel (Armella), Raymond Wendel (Cecila), Ida Pease (Basil), Adolph Wendel (Leona), Alma Kaiser (Leo), Alvina Laux (Hugo), Wilma Knapke (Louis) and Armella Timmerman (William).
She is survived by: her children, James Elking (Pam) of Miamisburg, Michael Elking (Lois) of New Bremen, Edith Schwartz (Ron) of New Bremen, Joyce Moubray (Roger) of Tipp City, Diana Hartwig (Steve) of New Bremen and Jeffery Elking (Shirley) of New Bremen. She is also survived by her seventeen grandchildren, thirty one great-grandchildren.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the L&R Elking Scholarship Fund, or to the St. Peter's Neurological Center.
