With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard E. Plattner of New Bremen, Ohio, born in Saint Marys, Ohio, who passed away on November 12, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymon J. Plattner and Anna Marie Plattner (Donnerberg); his daughters, Kelly Henline and Teri Henline; his siblings, Edward, Betty Lou Plattner and Eugene Plattner; and his sister-in-law Beverly Klingler.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Klingler; his son Kim Plattner (Joann) of Celina; his son-in-law Tom Henline of St. Marys; his grandchildren, Moriah, Leah, Sarah, Nikki, Tommy, Tasha, Shawn, Heather and Josh; his brother Ralph Plattner (Beverly) of New Bremen; and his parents-in-law, Martha Plattner of New Bremen, Barbara Broni (Eemil) of Ft. Wayne, Bill Laffin of Wapakoneta and Dennis Klingler (Edith) of St. Marys.
