He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymon J. Plattner and Anna Marie Plattner (Donnerberg); his siblings, Edward, Betty Lou Plattner, Eugene Plattner and Richard Plattner; his stepson Rodney Miller; his grandson Matthew Cron; his stepgrandson Dustin Quellhorst; and his father-in-law Edward Rump (Mamie).
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly F. Miller (Rump); his children, Kyle Plattner (Nancy) of Ft. Loramie and Karen Cron (Brian) of Piqua; his stepchildren, Cheryl Homan (Rick) of Wallace, NC, Vicki Quellhorst (Tim) of Minster and Bruce Miller (Sharon) of St. Marys; his grandchildren, Julie Havenar, Brandie Boerger (Keith), Lisa Mahon (Drew), Morgan Nickolai (Phillip), Whitney Yates (Andrew) and Troy Plattner; his stepgrandchildren, Erin Jester (Robert), Angela Thomas (Ben), John Homan, Cara Mabry (Daryl), Ryan Quellhorst (Melissa), Adam Quellhorst, Jacob Miller, Joel Miller, Paige Greve (Alex) and Amanda Kuenning (Luke); his sisters-in-law, Martha Plattner of New Bremen and Betty Plattner of New Bremen; and the mother of his children Arlene Hartings of Ft. Loramie. He is also survived by his thirteen great-grandchildren, his thirteen step-great-grandchildren.
