She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Schmitmeyer and Clara Schmitmeyer (Henke); her sister Alberta Pohl; her parents-in-law, Victor and Regina Homan (Hemmelgarn); her great grandchild Irene Schlater; and her in-laws, Viola Homan, Viola Mescher, Omer Wynk, Norma Homan, Mary Ann, Mary Alice and Joseph Homan.
She is survived by: her children, Sue (Dave Lennartz), Ken, Brenda Homan (Wolters) of Maria Stein, Ginny (Joe Rutschilling), Shirley (David McMaken), Mike Homan of New Bremen and Debra (Glenn Tatman); and her grandchildren, Beth (Kevin Geier), Greg (Sarah Lennartz), Doug (Mikayla Lennartz), Kayla Lennartz, Justin (Brittany Homan), Sarah (Mark Post), Abigail Homan, Zachary (Renee Homan), Victoria Homan, Grace Homan, Kendra (Mark Riesen), Leah Rutschilling (Matt Marvel), Ryan (Karen McMaken), Brittany (Kevin Schlater), Stephanie (Tyler Meyer), Kennedy Tatman and Cage Tatman. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren.
